Job Description:

Are you passionate about shaping young minds and fostering a love for learning? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Teacher to join a Cambridge curriculum school in the vibrant city of Bogotá, Colombia. As an Early Years Teacher, you will play a crucial role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. Applications are welcome from teachers who have worked abroad previously as well as those that are seeking a new adventure overseas. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons for early years students.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom atmosphere.
  • Foster social, emotional, and cognitive development through play-based learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support each child's growth and development.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • A relevant teaching degree.
  • Experience working with young children in an educational setting.
  • Familiarity with the Cambridge curriculum. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to student well-being.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
