Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and informative lessons in Food & Nutrition for students across various age groups.
Teach students about the principles of nutrition, healthy eating habits, and food preparation techniques.
Develop and implement curriculum plans that align with the British curriculum standards.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
Organize and oversee practical cooking sessions, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment.
Collaborate with colleagues to promote healthy eating initiatives and school-wide events.
Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
Relevant degree in Food & Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
Teaching certification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Passion for teaching and a commitment to promoting healthy eating and nutrition.
