Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate KS3 Humanities Teacher to join a dynamic team at a British International school in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have previous experience teaching Humanities at a secondary level, and be committed to providing high-quality lessons that foster academic excellence and personal growth in students. This role is open to applicants who have taught abroad previously as well as those who are looking for an exciting new opportunity overseas!
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons in Humanities for Key Stage 3 students.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the academic and personal development of all students.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans and school initiatives.
Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Geography.
Teaching certification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
Experience teaching Humanities at the KS3 level.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for teaching.
