Cover People are currently recruiting for an SEN Teaching Assistant for a role in a Primary School in Manchester to sart April 15th 2024.
The Role
A Primary School in Manchester is seeking a Teaching Assistant to join them ASAP for an on-going role. The successful applicant will be working on a full-time basis, Monday to Friday supporting a child within KS1 who has severe and complex needs on a 1:1 basis. Due to the nature of the role, support of the child will be done on a rota and so you may also be supporting other children in Key Stage 1.
The candidate must have:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification (or equivalent)
- Experience and knowledge of supporting children
- Excellent behaviour management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- DBS on update register
- References for last 2 years work history
- Up to date CV
The School
The school is aMainstream Primary with children aged 4-11 years. The school has the capacity for 480 pupils including a Nursery. The school has a strong vision of aiding the spiritual, social, intellectual, emotional and moral development of all of its students, and are seeking staff who will further support this vision. Students are well-behaved and staff work well together.
