SEN Teaching Assistant
Cover People are currently recruiting for a full time, SEN Teaching Assistant in an SEN School based in Rochdale. The role will start ASAP.
The Role
If you have SEN experience and feel confident to support learners with complex physical needs as well as behavioural needs, get in touch!
The school are looking for a qualified teaching assistant to help and support learners 1:1 in a classroom setting. The school provides a high level of support to children who are on the autistic spectrum, have ADHD and display challenging behavior. In addition to this, they provide excellent support to children with complex physical needs and low mobility.
The candidate must have:
- 6 months experience working with children
- Experience and knowledge of supporting children with SEN and complex needs
- Excellent behaviour management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- DBS on update register
- References for last 2 years work history
- Up to date CV
