Cover People UK are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant with strong behaviour management skills or Special Educational Needs experience.
Start date: As soon as possible
Availability: Full time, Monday to Friday, 8:30AM to 3:30PM
Age group: Secondary School, KS3 & KS4
Location: Salford
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with SEMH needs in their academic and personal development.
- Assist the classroom teacher in delivering the UK curriculum effectively.
- Implement tailored learning plans and interventions.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
- Monitor and report on student progress and behavior.
Requirements:
- Proven experience working as a Teaching Assistant in UK schools or proven experience with SEND.
- In-depth understanding of the UK curriculum.
- Experience and passion for working with students with SEMH needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
