Job description:
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified teacher to join a prestigious EDEXCEL and Cambridge IGCSE accredited school in Hong Kong. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching the British and International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum and a passion for fostering a positive and engaging learning environment. This will be a full-time, permanent position, and we would encourage applications from teachers who have taught abroad previously and / or those who are interested in broadening their horizons and exploring an exciting new opportunity in Asia!
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in accordance with the EDEXCEL and Cambridge curriculum standards.
- Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to ensure academic growth.
- Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources.
- Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, progress and other required documentation.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
- Valid teaching certification or license.
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience with the British or IB curriculum.
- Strong knowledge of the EDEXCEL and Cambridge curriculum frameworks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural and diverse environment.
