A well-established British international school in Bahrain is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic ICT Teacher to join their secondary department in August 2025. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging ICT lessons in line with the English National Curriculum and IGCSE/GCSE standards.
- Teach a range of topics including computer science fundamentals, digital literacy, and coding.
- Foster students’ problem-solving, critical thinking, and digital creativity.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback and support.
- Contribute to curriculum development and integration of technology across subjects.
- Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and the wider school community.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, ICT, or a related field.
- A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
- Minimum of two years of post-qualification teaching experience.
- Experience teaching the British curriculum, including IGCSE/GCSE.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Experience in an international school setting is an advantage.
