Music Teacher 
Location: South Manchester
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Will run till December 2024

Cover People is working with a thriving secondary school in South Manchester who are looking for a dedicated and passionate Music Teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to make a difference in students' musical journeys.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging music lessons tailored to students of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
  • Provide both individual and group instruction to nurture students' musical development.
  • Create an inclusive, supportive classroom environment where all students feel encouraged and motivated.
  • Manage and maintain musical instruments and equipment, ensuring they are well-cared for.
  • Regularly assess students' progress, offering constructive feedback to help them achieve their full potential.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends in music education, incorporating new methods and technologies into lessons.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is preferred.
  • Proven experience in teaching music at the secondary school level.
  • Strong understanding of music theory, history, and performance.
  • Proficiency in multiple musical instruments.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • A passion for inspiring and motivating students.
  • Commitment to continued professional growth.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A valid DBS Certificate on the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
  • Two professional references.
  • The right to work in the UK.
