Job Overview:
We are seeking enthusiastic, flexible, and experienced Primary Teachers to join our pool of staff to provide daily cover across a range of schools in South and Central Manchester. The ideal candidates will have a passion for teaching and be able to adapt quickly to new classroom environments, delivering high-quality education and supporting students' learning.

Key Responsibilities:
- Teaching: Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in a variety of primary school subjects, following the school's curriculum and lesson plans.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and focused learning environment, ensuring that students remain engaged and well-behaved.
- Adaptability: Quickly adapt to different schools, classrooms, and teaching contexts, ensuring that you meet the needs of each unique setting.
- Supportive Learning: Provide support to students of all abilities, offering differentiated teaching to ensure every student can access the lesson content.
- Collaboration: Work alongside school staff to ensure a smooth transition and effective integration into each classroom. Build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
- Assessment: Monitor and track student progress where appropriate, providing feedback to school staff.
- Safeguarding: Ensure the safety and well-being of students in accordance with school policies and safeguarding procedures.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): You must hold QTS (or equivalent) and have experience teaching within primary schools.
- Flexibility: Ability to work on short notice and be available for both part-time and full-time opportunities across South and Central Manchester.
- Experience: Previous teaching experience within primary schools is essential. Experience in covering classes or working in different schools would be a plus.
- Strong Classroom Management: Ability to manage a variety of classroom environments, maintain discipline, and engage students.
- Commitment to Professionalism: High standards of teaching, reliability, and professionalism.
- Enhanced DBS: An up-to-date DBS check or willingness to undertake one.
Desirable Skills:
- Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Adaptability and Initiative: Ability to respond effectively to changing situations and use initiative to solve problems.
- Teamwork: Ability to work as part of a team while also being able to take the lead in the classroom when required.
- Knowledge of the National Curriculum: Understanding of the UK National Curriculum and best practices for primary education.
