Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons that meet the individual needs of SEND students
- Adapting teaching methods and resources to support diverse learning styles
- Collaborating with parents, carers, and external agencies to achieve the best possible outcomes for students
- Regularly assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback
- Working with colleagues to foster a supportive and inclusive school culture
- Maintaining a safe and positive learning environment for all students
- Participating in ongoing professional development and training
Key Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience working with children with SEND (desirable)
- Knowledge of SEND frameworks and effective teaching strategies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A passion for supporting individual learning needs
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team
- An empathetic, patient approach to teaching
