We are currently seeking a full time SEND Teaching Assistant to work in a Secondary School in Salford, Manchester. This role is to start in September until potentially July 2025 for the full academic year.
If you have experience working in UK Secondary Schools supporting across KS3 and KS4 with experience supporting children with special needs such as Autism, ADHD and SEMH this vacancy could be a perfect fit for you.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting on a 1:1 and small groups
- Experience with ASD, ADHD and Social Emotional Mental Health
- Assisting in day to day activities to encourage the children’s learning
- Provide individualised support and guidance to the student, ensuring their social and emotional well-being is prioritised
- Implement behaviour management techniques and interventions to support positive behaviour and personal growth
Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS on the update Service
- Right to work in the UK
- Have a patient and supportive personality
- Relevant experience and qualifications
